When writing a WebSphere Cluster Management Jython script I got he following error:

Reason: The issue was that I was using “2” spaces for indentation in my entire script. For this particular level of indentation I had an odd number of indents ie 7 spaces instead of 8,  ie a  4th level indentation level and so Jython was upset that i was not being consistent with my indentation.

Solution: Check the spaces you are using. Note using tabs is dangerous between editors an shell environments. Because sometime the amount of spaces calculated in a tab are not consistent.
