Basic WordPress security tip

When you first install WordPress the wizard, lets you get to define your initial admin user and password. Do not use “admin” as most bots are looking to attack this use using brute for so they can spam articles.

If you have already go WordPress installed then create another user with admin rights and assign the existing posts form admin to the new user.

Also make sure that you set up the discussion settings to not publish unless you approve the comments.
