There have been problems with DataPower devices connecting as Clients to Windows Servers running MQ 7.5. Backing out MQ 7.5 will resolve the problem, however, the fix may be due to the Windows configuration.

In directory

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\

You should update your ‘hosts’ file with the DataPower device. For example, add the following line with the appropriate names and IP addresses for your DP devices

17.17.256.62 hxapp24.domain.com

17.17.256.63 hxapp25.domain.com

The DataPower device was taking more than 11 seconds to connect. The problem was intermittent, but very often.  Adding the definitions should resolve any delays in the MQ Connection.
